Supervision is received from the Registered Nurse Regional Manager and the Regional Medical Director/Regional Administrator. This RN Supervisor B is accountable for promoting a positive image and working together with other members of the health care team. This RN Supervisor B practices within the scope of practice designated by the Louisiana Nurse Practice Act (LRS 37:911) and adheres to the policies, procedures and standards of the Louisiana Department of Health/Office of Public Health. This Registered Nurse Supervisor B position is assigned to the Lafayette Parish Health Unit in the Region 4 Office of Public Health and works as the nursing supervisor for this large unit which houses the Regional Medical Tuberculosis Clinic as well as the Region 4 Children’s Special Health Services Clinic and Regional Genetics Clinic. This position requires a valid license to practice nursing in the State of Louisiana. No Civil Service test score is required in order to be considered for this vacancy.
