Each performance a delightful nod to the other while also throwing in a brand of humor from a bubbly bear that had you splitting your side with laughter. At least for my experience I felt they put out all the stops. Ive heard of how good the nutcracker is but until you actually view it for yourself, you really have no idea how magical it is. Whats even better is that description I just presented is just the theater itself, the play itself was altogether the cherry on top to an already enlightening experience. From the balcony to the seats to the stage itself you are witnessing a true work of art that is a site to behold.
The design of the building was without a doubt painstakingly wrought to fruition with no ounce of detail left unchecked or unnoticed. Just walking into the theater room you are greeted by a picturesque view of architectural wonderment. It was my first time seeing the nutcracker and the first time I set foot in the Boston Opera House, and sure enough it did not disappoint.
